Luncheon

A small recollection of the past- but for a moment it looked as if we were living those college days again.Those green lushes of grass , the sit out near the library - a common place during our internals , the library - where we paid ocassional visits to get those 'master' copy of assigments brought back those memories of four years of engineering. It looked as if its just yesterday we have left the college and hardly a thing has changed. It was great to see my friends - Jyotsna - who is moving to States , Nandita - who would be a lady soon, Puneet-aspiring for a future in aeronautics.The lunch at 'Alex Kitchen' brought in those days still fresh in our mind's (Jo, Nandu and me) - where we had so many discussions and confessions about our personal life.But today - few secrets were revealed- Jo's lil crush on Sandeep Bade, Puneet's lil secret for success in term exams ( he used to make sure that he atleast saw once Shwetha's (from ECE) face before going for an exam) - these just made me wonder if these days would be back again. We hogged in like people from Somalia - Mushroom Soup,Sweet and Sour Soup, Gobi Manchuria,American Chop Suey,Schezwan rice,Hot garlic Sauce ( which wasnt a least bit spicy),Wet Vegetable Manchuria, and last not but not the least Vegetable Noodles, Pepsi , Fanta , Cornetto , Scoops. Lol - I am sure - we must be sounding like Kubera's when it came to eatery - but somehow nothing could have stopped us from enjoying those delicious food. Sometimes it was Jo , Sometimes it was Puneet - they took turns in geting teased by Nandu and me. Somehow - wonder if any other day would come where in all of us would be together like this having a pep talk.Heart in heart all of us wished our friend a great future ahead.
